On behalf of all Little Leaguers in District Three, I welcome you to the 46th Senior Canadian Little League Championship. We hope you enjoy a week of great baseball, and have a chance to see something of the area.
It is a chance for many to renew old friendships, to make many new ones, and to cheer on your team to see who will have the honour of representing Canada at the World Series in Bangor, Maine.
I offer my best wishes to all players, coaches, and fans in the coming days. As representatives of your corner of Canada, I hope you enjoy your time here while we watch these young people play a remarkable calibre of baseball.
